TELTA
THE EAST LEADERSHIP TRAINING ACADEMY
OUR VISION FOR THE FUTURE
As we move forward, TELTA continues to expand its reach, develop innovative leadership programs, and integrate modern tools that meet the evolving needs of young Christians today. From digital leadership workshops to community impact projects, TELTA is preparing tomorrow’s leaders for both church and society.
We envision a generation of YPD members who are grounded in faith, equipped with knowledge, and inspired to lead boldly—not just within the church, but in every sphere of life. THE IMPACT OF TELTA
TELTA is more than a program—it’s a transformative journey. It bridges the gap between spiritual calling and practical leadership, shaping individuals who lead with purpose, wisdom, and compassion. Every graduate of TELTA carries forward the mission of faith-based leadership that uplifts communities and strengthens the church.
Through our teachings and mentorship, TELTA alumni become agents of change—leaders who don’t just speak about transformation but live it in their daily actions. They learn that leadership is not about position, but about service; not about recognition, but about responsibility.
TELTA also fosters collaboration among conferences and districts, ensuring that our young people grow together, learn from each other’s experiences, and build a united front of faith-driven leaders across the AME Church. This shared learning builds strong connections, sustainable networks, and a legacy of leadership excellence. WHO ARE TELTEES?
Teltees are individuals who have journeyed through the TELTA leadership training experience. Whether still in training or already serving in their churches and communities, Teltees represent the heart of the Academy—faithful, disciplined, and purpose-driven young leaders who embody the values of growth, service, and spiritual excellence.
Being a Teltee means carrying the light of Christ wherever you go. It means standing out as an example of faith in action, leadership through service, and love through compassion. Teltees continue to mentor others, build strong church ministries, and bring change to their communities long after completing the program.
